Mock user data JSON generator

Need mock user data JSON for a profile page, a sign-up flow or a users table? Describe the users you want, and Mockify returns realistic JSON and a temporary endpoint you can call from your app.

Why you need mock user data JSON

User screens are often the first thing an app builds, and they depend on data that does not exist yet: the auth service is not finished, or the database has only one admin account. Two hard-coded users named “John Doe” hide the problems that appear later.

Real users are uneven. Names have different lengths, phone numbers come in different formats, and accounts were created on different days. A table that looks fine with “Ann Lee” can break with “Maximiliano Fernández-Villaseñor”. Realistic user JSON shows these problems while you are still building.

How to generate mock user data JSON with Mockify

  1. Open the generator and press the Users template, or type your own prompt.
  2. Choose how many users you need (up to 50). Pick a language and a country if you want names and phone numbers that fit a place.
  3. Press Generate, then copy the JSON or the endpoint link.

Paste this prompt into the generator, or press the button to have it filled in for you:

Prompt
10 users with id, first_name, last_name, email, phone and created_at date. Include a few very long last names.

Example output

This example was written by hand to show the shape of the data. Your result will have different values.

Example output
[
  {
    "id": 1,
    "first_name": "Layla",
    "last_name": "Haddad",
    "email": "[email protected]",
    "phone": "+962 7 9555 0142",
    "created_at": "2025-03-14"
  },
  {
    "id": 2,
    "first_name": "Maximiliano",
    "last_name": "Fernández-Villaseñor",
    "email": "[email protected]",
    "phone": "+34 612 345 678",
    "created_at": "2025-06-02"
  }
]

Load the users in your app

The records are in the data field of the response. Replace YOUR_ID with the id from your own endpoint link.

fetch
const res = await fetch("https://www.mockify.online/api/mock/YOUR_ID");
const { data: users } = await res.json();

users.forEach((user) => {
  console.log(`${user.first_name} ${user.last_name} <${user.email}>`);
});

When to use something else

Mockify data is made up, and the endpoint is read-only. It does not create accounts or check passwords, so it cannot replace a real sign-in. If you need real login, use your own backend or an authentication service. If you only need a few fixed sample users in your repository, a JSON file in your project is simpler and never expires.
